FED: GST will cost lives, say lifesavers and ambos

CANBERRA, Feb 4 AAP - Surf lifesavers and ambulance services today warned that the
government's proposed GST could put lives at risk by reducing the ability of the emergency
groups to perform their duties.

Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA), the Royal Life Saving Society of Australia (RLSSA) and
St John Ambulance Australia today delivered a joint submission to a Senate committee
investigating the impact of the tax.
