VIC:National holiday road toll at 37

The death of a Victorian woman on the last day of 2011 has taken the national holiday
road toll to 37.

Police say the woman had been driving in Serviceton, near the South Australian border,
at around eight o'clock (AEDT) when she came off the road, rolling her car several times,
before stopping in a paddock.

The woman, believed to be in her 30s, was the only one in the vehicle at the time.

She died at the scene.

Her death brought Victoria's holiday road toll to seven and its annual road toll to
288, two more than for the same time last year.
